Here are 3 recent questions from Emily's 52Q challenge.  If your not a regular reader of Emily's blog, it's worth a peek over there because she had her baby this week...a 10 pound 8 ounce delicious baby boy...

The last 2 are really similar colors, and I didn't realize it until now...must have been in a pink and green mood...

I have 2 more to go, and then I will be all caught up...that's on my to do list this weekend :)

52Q: weeks 28, 29, 30...

Q28:what are your favorite days of summer filled with?

Well, as you can tell, my favorite days have not been filled with blogging!  I find it SO hard to blog when the kids are home, maybe because now more than ever I realize my time with them is rare and precious, and I tend to drop everything to be with them.  But now, I'm back :)  For this tag I used rubber stamps, micron pen and colored pencils.

Q29: do you have a recurring dream?

I used: fabric, wallpaper, paper lace, stamens, a pompom, ribbon and a label maker...

Q30: who do you need to thank?

This started with a tiny little thank you card that Julie Collings had sent me...I just LOVE Julie's perfect little handwriting and had saved it...

I rubber stamped the tag, stapled Julies card to the end with ribbon and a piece of black scalloped paper underneath so it would stand out.  And who do I need to thank?  Well, my parents for everything, and you guys for taking the time to read about it!

week 21: How would I spend a free day if I had no restrictions?

(my answer: in Paris-shopping the flea markets all day, and dining and dancing (romancing) all night!)

I don't really get obsessed, but I am enjoying making stitched fabric collage pieces...still need to add to this... p.s.pink and green just might be my oldest obsession! :)

52 Q: weeks 14, 15, 17, 18...

I am 7 weeks behind on sharing my 52Q tags, so here goes!week 14: What was the last good book you read?

I used an illustration and words from an old children's "Dick and Jane" school book, with a little pom-pom and rick rack trim on the end...

week 15: What makes me, me?

This is just a bit of an old letter, vintage wallpaper, and rubber stamped "me"...

week 17: What is my superpower?

week 18: What's on my to do list this week?

I really had to laugh at this one, because it fell on my ALL TIME busiest week of my life!  I just wrote a list on a 3x5 index card (which is what I use to make all of my to do lists)and left it like that...     My ridiculous busy week speaks for itself, and that is one week I am glad is over!

I hope you guys don't mind me showing you these tags I've been making for Emily's 52Q challenge.  Some tags are better than others, some you might not even like at all...and that's OK... their just tags, so I'm having fun.  This was week 10, and the question was : "name 5 movies that inspire you creatively" ...

I don't watch a lot of movies, and when I do it's usually a "chick flick", or a romantic comedy.  Marie Antoinette  inspired us all, but other than that, I can't think of any movies.  Suggestions?  I made this tag out of things I found while I was cleaning out an old purse.  I am constantly picking up bits and pieces of things: feathers, shells, rocks, and yes trash.  The bottle cap and ticket were both found objects.  The polka dot mint wrapper was from a restaurant in Florida, and it was WAY too cute to throw away.  I used those 3 items for my inspiration.  You wouldn't believe the stuff I have in my purse, and no, this has nothing to do with movies...

Week 11: "What keeps you awake at night?"...

I haven't written the question on here yet, because I don't want to ruin the simplicity of this.  I used an old letter for the background here, and it was only when I photographed it that I realized that the first 2 words say "something unknown".  That's kind of creepy.  I guess something unknown would keep me awake at night, but other that that, I sleep very well...

Week 12: "what are you grateful for right now?"...

I made this on Saturday, when it was raining and I was cleaning up my studio.  I found a stack of paint cards that I had stamped with images, and decided to use this blue one.  The stamp of the nest with two eggs represents my children, and I am always grateful for them, so this is the first card of this series that actually makes sense!   While cleaning I also found a package of self adhesive index tabs from the office supply store, so I stuck one on the end of the tag.  Then...I discovered that I had not 1, not 2, but 3 label makers (2 Dymo, 1 Avery)...so to justify this, I used one of them...

Now I'm all caught up...until a new question gets posted today!  Thanks for letting me share!

52Q: week 9...

I'm a few weeks behind on the 52Q challenge, with the kids being home, and me being sick, but I will catch up.  Actually, I'm a few weeks behind on LIFE in general, but who needs clean towels?  Or bread?

No, it's much more fun to justify my need to buy an entire grocery bag full of Plaid stamp books at the flea market, by making this tag.  Do you remember these?  I remember S&H Green Stamps.  I think they may have been from A&P grocery.  My mom would let me put them in the books for her...I'll have to ask her if we ever actually redeemed them for a prize.  OK, enough procrastinating for today...my laundry awaits...

7/8, lay them straight...

Week 7...I made this out of the corrugated cardboard  holder that goes around your coffee cup.  I like the idea but I don't like the way I wrote the question on the side.  I should have written it smaller, or in a circle around the red parenthesis.  This is a do-over. I need to go back to Starbucks...

Week 8: Apparently I have been in a black rick-rack-ribbon mood that I was completely unaware of until I looked at these two tags together.  Not very vintage, but it's good to mix it up once in a while.  

And the last thing to make me L-O-L?  I would have to say my B-O-Y...he's always good for a laugh!

52Q: week 6

This might be my favorite tag so far...a page ripped from an old book, a little white paint, some paper lace, a tiny mini muffin liner (pink), a circle cut from the same book page with the edges snipped and crinkled, and a button in the center to make a flower...

I have weeks 7 and 8 completed, but my camera battery died right after I took this picture!  I have it charging now, so I'll have to show the other tags later :)

52Q...

I finally made a cover for my 52Q tag book...I made it slightly larger than the rest of the tags, and made it out of cardboard so it would be sturdy.  This is the front...

The question for this week is "If I could do it all again, would I change anything?".  I'm working on that one today...
