We've seen lots of wild animals on the farm...Beavers in the lake, dozens of bird species, including ducks and cranes and hawks. Squirrels, raccoons, armadillos, and other small mammals are common sightings. We were curious about the nocturnal critters, so we set up a motion activated trail camera in the woods, just to see what was lurking out there.(The date on the camera is incorrect, but the time and temperature are both correct) We saw 5 LARGE (like 250-300 pound) hogs...and 8 piglets...

opossum...
and tons of deer...
I think it's exciting to know that all of these creatures are out there, but I can promise you, I will NOT be hiking the woods at night!!
