Christopher and I went to the flea market this morning and did a little shopping. He got home last night at 9:30, and I was so glad to see him.
Then at midnight, just as I was going up to bed, Elizabeth walked through the front door! She packed her bag and left Nashville at 8:00 last night to come home and be with us for Easter. I was SO surprised!
On Tuesday morning neither one was coming home, but by Thursday night, they were both here. My Good Friday is now GOOD Friday...both of my babies are home!
All of these photos were taken this morning at Scott's Antique Market in Atlanta, and just to give you some prices...The porcelain glove molds and green seltzer bottles were $15.00 each (discounts for more than one), the metal door hardware was $2.00-$3.00.
There were more chandeliers than you could imagine...I loved this one hanging from a huge old Magnolia tree...
Inside I found the booth of Margaret Meier, who has an ENORMOUS collection of vintage linen and grain bags that are so popular right now in decorating. Margaret has been showing at Scott's for 25 years.
She also has tons of beautiful barkcloth...
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, mine is off to a great start, and a very Happy Easter to you all!
