We just got back from a great visit with my brother and his family in North Carolina. I love being with with them because they are so EASY...relaxing, quality family time is so good for the soul. Thanks guys, for the love and the laughs...we needed it! We went to a couple of ADORABLE shops that I have to share with you. If you are ever in the Chapel Hill/Hillsborough area, you have to check them out... The photo above is some of the things that I bought at a store called Brick Alley Antiques, located on W. Clay St in Mebane, N.C. Mebane was SUCH a cute little up-and-coming town with lots of fun shops and cafes. I paid between $2.00-$3.00 for the cards of lace, and $5.00 for the vintage millinery-a great deal I think! Also on Clay street is a shop called Elegant Relic
cute, cute stuff... great displays..They had these wire photo holders in several different styles for $9.00 each. I should have bought more...They have a big party at Christmas time-I may have to go back for that! Next to these stores there was a dessert cafe, and we stopped for coffee and tried several of their delicious treats-carrot cake, lemon pie, blueberry cream cheese pastry-everything was yummy! Back in Hillsborough, we went to a store called Fetch.
Really cute things-very shabby chic...
I bought a gorgeous barkcloth curtain panel, and actually, could have purchased everything in the store!
Can't wait to go back for another visit, and more shopping!
