The glitter and colors of Christmas are gone, and my home has returned to a more neutral color palette. I'm trying to keep things a bit cozy for winter...I piled a stack of quilts on a chair I inherited from my grandmother...
and draped a vintage sequined sweater over the mannequin that wears my mothers wedding gown...
I'm fluffing the nest, but simplifying too. Surrounding myself with the things I love, just less of them. Am I capable of simplifying? I'm going to try...

Lovely photos for quiet January.

The vintage quilts are so lovely! I love the colors and patterns and they look so cozy all stacked on the chair! Your dress form looks amazing too, with her beautiful jewelry and sequined sweater!

Love the roses and the quilts.
I'm still packing away Christmas decorations.
Love your bird cage with the pink ornaments.

Oh my goodness, those quilts are amazing! I collect vintage quilts only if they are in the purple/lavender family. I know, crazy. But if I didn't limit it, I'd go crazy getting every old quilt I found. =)
So glad you joined us for the Lovely Blogs collection.
