Last night my beautiful Goddaughter Caroline went to her Senior Prom and I was lucky enough to see her before her date picked her up. She looked PERFECT last night, from her hair and makeup and earrings...
to her splashy cocktail ring...
she was simply stunning...
What the pictures can't say {but I can}, is that she is even more beautiful on the inside. I have been blessed to know her from the beginning, {I hosted the baby shower for her mom when she was expecting}, and had the honor of being the first person, other than family, to hold her in the hospital on the day she was born. That seems like yesterday. In the next few months she will turn 18, graduate from High School and this fall will go away to the college she has always dreamed of. It has been a joy to watch her grow up from a quiet little girl to a strong, confident young woman. She is a joy to all that know her, from her family and friends, to those at church and school and in the community. I know that her future is bright, and wish her all the success and happiness in the world. No matter how far she may travel, she will always be in my heart. xo

What a beautiful young woman! She looks stunning! They do grow fast don't they? My daughter (baby) is 20, and I don't know where the years went. I wish her all the best, and hope she had a great time at the prom.
