This might be my favorite photo from Texas. It may not mean anything to you, but it is everything to me. It is...she and I...we...us. We were at Zapp Hall one night, listening to a band, sitting on an old couch under a huge oak tree with a sky full of stars and twinkling lights. My leg was crossed and touching hers and I snapped this photo. We were not even talking, we were just being. And I just like being with her.
Reason number one-million-and-ten of why I love being a mom.
counting my blessings...xo

Awesome! And...you got to sit on the couch? How did you accomplish that? Good timing, huh!?

Hi Suzanne,
Looks like you had a blast in Texas! What a sweet moment you shared with your daughter. Yes, being a mom is the best. Your son is sooo handsome too!
I just love all the vintage yumminess you shared with us. I had gone to a Victorian day in Belvedere NJ, and had seen some of the ladies making gorgeous lace pieces by hand. So intricate. I love all the vintage Christmas too! Too bad you couldn't bring some home. Maybe antoher time! Thanks for sharing!

I love your posts about vintage treasures. Your photos of your beautiful house push me to be tidier. But your posts about your children make me love you. Yes! to being a mom.
