I took this photo one year ago today. The kids and I were on a road trip from Atlanta to Pittsburgh to see my parents, and we were taking our time-stopping at every roadside farmer's and flea market we could find. This was a farmer's market in West Virginia, early morning. Elizabeth was wearing a skirt she purchased in Guatemala, and holding a bag of just picked peaches. Just a simple, quiet moment...but a happy memory.
Funny how it can seem just like yesterday, and like it was a million years ago, both at the same time.
What were you doing one year ago today?
That is a great looking skirt - makes a nice photo with all the contrasts and color. I think that this time last year I was in the Smoky Mountains, TN on vacation.

It's a lovely skirt. I remember reading about Elizabeth's trip to Guatemala a year ago. ;) My mom is in Guatemala right now visiting family. I'm looking forward to her colorful finds.
One year ago I was dreading my baby starting Kindergarten. Now, I'm dreading first grade.

Beautiful picture with bright colors and an interesting angle! One year ago I was planning a first-time ever Family Reunion for my husbands side of the family. It was an event that will always remain special in my heart with many folks meeting each other for the first time.

hmmm, A year ago I was thinking how happy I was for you that Elizabeth had a wonderful trip and came back safely from Guatemala and thinking wow, what a lucky girl...I love this skirt! haha
And I was also fighting the heat down here in Louisiana, but that's half the year here!!!

Let's see...a year ago I was missing Ashley because she had moved to LA. Now she is home for the summer on her way to Paris to go to school. A year makes a lot of difference.
