My internet connection has been down for 3 days and we're finally up and running again. Didn't realize how addicted we are! Here's another 52Q tag, and it might be my favorite so far, or at least the idea of it is. What if you picked up junk-found objects-for a week and then had to make something out of it? That wasn't the assignment, I'm just saying, what if?
The question was...What have you found lately?
2 paperclips found in the parking lot at 5 guys, an envelope with a string tab closure, and a Starbucks coffee insulator. Next Q: Have you had a hug today?
I hope the answer is yes! :) Vintage wallpaper & ribbon, with sewn on alphabet letters.
I hope you have a great (junk & hug filled) weekend!
I took this photo one year ago today. The kids and I were on a road trip from Atlanta to Pittsburgh to see my parents, and we were taking our time-stopping at every roadside farmer's and flea market we could find. This was a farmer's market in West Virginia, early morning. Elizabeth was wearing a skirt she purchased in Guatemala, and holding a bag of just picked peaches. Just a simple, quiet moment...but a happy memory.
Funny how it can seem just like yesterday, and like it was a million years ago, both at the same time.
edited: I bought my poster from Victoria (sfgirlbybay), several years ago, but she was just featured in the NY Times, and has all of these posters on sale in her Etsy shop through July 31st if you are interested. You can find them HERE.
