I love your new banner! The creamy buttons and the pretty pink rose! Gorgeous! I always use pecans in my banana bread as well. Much better than walnuts! Now I am in the mood for banana bread too. I'd better get started - where is my apron?

Yum and a nice easy recipe, thank you! Rachaelxo

How funny that you just posted this. I go to a friend's house weekly to scrapbook. Last week the house smelled soooooo good when we walked in. She had made zucchini bread with PECANS and CHOCOLATE CHIPS.

I thought that being goodies in zucchini bread it would be a weird combination but guess what? It was really, really, really good!

Oh MY! This is making my mouth water! Especially with the chocolate chips added. Maybe I will make some loaves this weekend, there are witnesses to too many brown bananas in the freezer!

Thanks for the recipe...I keep looking for one. Much thanks...Kara

Loved your post and the comment about the pecans being the law in Georgia!! I just made my mothers banana bread too and had the same urge you did to kick it up a notch. I added in fresh blueberries with the bananas and it was wonderful. My husband wants me to try banana bread with strawberries in it now. I think that sounds good too! I'll have to try your idea with the chocolate chips. That would be a great treat when you need something sweet! ~ xoxo ~ Joy
