My painter friend Tom was finishing my basement yesterday, and I was in my studio, organizing. He walked in and said..
Tom: can I just ask, what do you do with all this junk stuff?
me: I make things
Tom: what kind of things?
me: art
Tom: like what?
me: (I show him my portfolio)
Tom: oooohhhhh. girl art. Well...if it makes you happy....
...it does Tom, it does!

Suzanne, Tom your painter sounds like my husband! LOL I showed my husband my little Celebration Bird that I made and I was so excited about it and he said "ooo, ahhh" but was totally making fun of me!
