O.K. here goes...

"MY STUDIO"

 

I use the word "studio" loosely, because not much has been happening here lately in the way of creativity...but that's about to change.  The "studio" has been cluttered with extra junk (weight machine, ping pong table, BOXES of stuff for Goodwill) and that has all been cleared out...now the ugly ceiling has been removed and will be replaced next week with a beautiful bead board ceiling, like I have in my adjacent office...

 

So when the construction and painting is complete, I'm gonna try and get all Martha Stewart meets Rachel Ashwell, and be crazy organized, yet vintage chic.  A place to inspire my creativity.

It could happen.

I hope. 

It can't get worse! 

I'll keep you posted...

Good for you! I have been trying to get mine decluttered too! Why is it that things always end up on the floor? I am inspired by your enthusiasm and can't wait to see what you come up with! (and I am a vintage chic lover too!)

Thanks for the nice comments! Linda my office is Benjamin Moore "Confederate Red" it was a Pottery Barn color I saw in thier catalog. I am happy with the color. I am painting the studio another Pottery Barn color-"Natural Wicker", it's just a creamy color, but I wanted somethin neutral with all of my junk, er, stuff!
